substantivo
Contexto: "The acceptance by society, reflected in the media, that gender identity may not always match the assigned sex at birth has provided the option and permission for individuals to question their gender identity more freely. Consequently, in some coun- tries, transgender health services have expanded and developed so that gender-diverse people wanting physical change are able to access gender-affirming medical interventions. Hormone treatment, pivotal for those who wish to transition into their affirmed gender that differs from their sex that is assigned at birth, is ideally prescribed under the supervision of endocrinologists."
